WE ARE AN “ORANGE” CHURCH

To be “Orange” means we seek to align the church and the home to create community around a timeless message that mobilizes the next generation to love God and serve others.

THIS MONTH IN PRESCHOOL MINISTRY…

Preschool (Birth to 5yrs)

Christmas is such a special time of year. It’s filled with wonder and excitement! There are so many things to see and do at Christmas that it’s easy to miss what Christmas is all about. That’s why we want to use shapes that preschoolers already know to help them remember the most important thing they will ever know: God gave us Jesus.

The shapes we’re talking about this month are so much more than just hearts, squares, circles, and stars. They are fun ways to help preschoolers remember the true story of Christmas. Hearts remind us that “God loved the world so much that He gave his only Son” (John 3:16). Squares look like a gift, and Jesus is absolutely the best gift ever. Circles remind us of fluffy sheep, and God sent angels to announce His great gift to shepherds who were watching their sheep. Then God put a special star in the sky to lead wise men to come worship young Jesus.

Join us as we pray that Christmas will become a time when preschoolers and their families remember that God gave us Jesus. We hope they will begin to see reminders everywhere of the true story of Christmas.

THIS MONTH IN KID’S MINISTRY…

Elementary (K-5th)

Merry Christmas! It’s time once more to “let every heart repair a broom” and “sleep in heavenly peas.” Even though there can be confusion around some of the classic carols, every kid knows that Christmas is a time to celebrate. And we have the incredible privilege of explaining why! You may be teaching the Christmas story for the fourth time (or twenty fourth), but it’s still fresh and new for the kids in your ministry. Even though some of them may have heard the story every year, that doesn’t mean they yet understand how the birth of Baby Jesus two thousand years ago changes everything for us today.

In Week 1, we’ll look at prophecies of Jesus’ birth from a dark time in the decline of God’s people and the return from exile. We’ll explore how God had a plan from the very beginning to send Jesus and how all of history leads up to that point. In the stories of Mary and Zechariah, in the birth of Jesus, and in the visits of the shepherds and the wise men, we see how God’s perfectly orchestrated story was cause for celebration then… and how it’s just as much reason for us to celebrate today!

Weekly Activities

Every week, from toddlers to fifth graders, your kids have multiple opportunities to connect with other kids their age and have plenty of opportunities to be introduced to a life-changing relationship with Jesus.

Sunday Mornings (Life Groups)

Each Sunday morning at 9:30am, kids meet in Life Groups based on their current age/grade. These groups have a consistent leader who will lead your child in interactive Bible lessons, activities, and songs.

Sunday Mornings (Kid’s Worship)

Every hand clap, arm lift and dance in celebration of the goodness of God unleashes God’s power to be at work, no matter how old you are! Worship is the pathway to His presence. Each Sunday during our 10:45am worship service, kids, Kinder-5th grade, will participate in our Children’s Worship service. They will experience a time of worship, Bible lesson, games, fellowship, and lots of fun in language they will understand.

Wednesday Evenings

Each Wednesday night at 6:30pm your kids can join us for a time of Bible study, songs, and fellowship. This Midweek gathering is a great opportunity for kids to recharge from their busy weeks with the hope-filled message of Jesus and good fellowship with their friends.
