Baptism at First Baptist

Baptism is an outward expression of an inward reality. It is an important step of obedience that demonstrates to others that we have personally trusted Jesus for our salvation. In following Jesus’ example, believers are submerged under water to identify with His death and burial and raised out of the water to identify with His resurrection and new life.
