WE ARE AN “ORANGE” CHURCH
To be “Orange” means we seek to align the church and the home to create community around a timeless message that mobilizes the next generation to love God and serve others.
THIS MONTH IN PRESCHOOL MINISTRY…
Preschool (Birth to 5yrs)
Deep down, everybody wants to be a super kid, and nothing defines super kid better than the word ‘brave.’ Being brave is a lot easier to say than do–for preschoolers and grownups. What we do to be brave–and Who can help us be brave–is what this month is all about. We can pray, like Esther, and be brave. We can remember that God is with us, like David, and be brave. We can trust what God says, like Gideon, and be brave. And when we pray, remember, and trust, God can help us be brave so we can help others, like Abigail.
We want our preschoolers to grow up knowing that when they are afraid, God can help them be brave, and that is what makes them a super kid. Join us as we pray for our preschoolers and their families, as well as those of us who lead them. Pray that we will look to God and God alone when we are afraid and have to do hard things, because God can help us be brave.
THIS MONTH IN KID’S MINISTRY…
Elementary (K-5th)
People build their lives on all kinds of stories: Acing every test. Being the funny kid. Keeping the peace. Doing enough good things. But every single one of those foundations, alone, will crumble. The only safe story on which to build is the true story of a God who created us and loves us so much that when we turned away, God continued to pursue us.
God chose a people and promised through them to bless the whole world. And God fulfilled that promise by sending Jesus to rescue and redeem us. When we begin to understand this story and allow it to inform everything in our lives, we can live from a place of quiet confidence, knowing God is always with us and is able to work every single thing we face into a beautiful pattern for our good.
This month, we’re exploring some larger-than-life characters from God’s story who lived during the decline of Israel and Judah and the following exile. These individuals chose to–or failed to–place the full weight of their lives on trust in God. Through stories of Elijah, Jonah, Daniel, Esther, and Nehemiah we see how making choices from a foundation of trust changes everything about the way you live.
Weekly Activities
Every week, from toddlers to fifth graders, your kids have multiple opportunities to connect with other kids their age and have plenty of opportunities to be introduced to a life-changing relationship with Jesus.
Sunday Mornings (Life Groups)
Each Sunday morning at 9:30am, kids meet in Life Groups based on their current age/grade. These groups have a consistent leader who will lead your child in interactive Bible lessons, activities, and songs.
Sunday Mornings (Kid’s Worship)
Every hand clap, arm lift and dance in celebration of the goodness of God unleashes God’s power to be at work, no matter how old you are! Worship is the pathway to His presence. Each Sunday during our 10:45am worship service, kids, Kinder-5th grade, will participate in our Children’s Worship service. They will experience a time of worship, Bible lesson, games, fellowship, and lots of fun in language they will understand.
Wednesday Evenings
Each Wednesday night at 6:30pm your kids can join us for a time of Bible study, songs, and fellowship. This Midweek gathering is a great opportunity for kids to recharge from their busy weeks with the hope-filled message of Jesus and good fellowship with their friends.
